The mission of The Friends of The Lincoln Museum, Inc. is to provide financial support for the programs of The Lincoln Museum and to assist The Lincoln Museum in its mission to interpret and preserve the history and legacy of Abraham Lincoln through research, preservation, exhibitry and education.

 

A non-profit, 501(c)(3), founded in 2000, the Friends is a national member-based organization that presents educational activities on behalf of The Lincoln Museum, including the highly regarded annual scholarly address, the R.Gerald McMurtry Lecture.  Other activities encompass an author series, lectures to accompany temporary exhibits, museum theater, a speakers bureau, Civil War Day Camp for elementary age children, Lincoln Lore magazine and a variety of other programs. 
The Friends of The Lincoln Museum is not accepting new memberships at this time.
